What is bowling?
Bowling is a target sport and recreational activity in which a player rolls a ball toward pins on a long smooth surface called a lane. Most references to bowling are to pin bowling, specifically tenpin bowling.
How much does it cost to bowl 3 Games?
Our prices are competitive and our current rates are $5/Game and $5/Rental Shoe. Kids 5 & Under get Shoes Free. So, for 1 person 3 Games with a pair of rental shoes would only cost $18. If you were a family of 4, you would expect to pay $72.
We also have an Hourly Rate which includes Rental Shoes for $15/Bowler, Must have at least 3 Bowlers for hourly rate.
What kind of bowling balls does your center have and provide?
Parkview Lanes is a house built by the community. We have very few weighted balls. Most of our balls were donated or left behind by bowlers, so they are random fits and weights.
Are the lanes wood or synthetic/plastic?
The approach is all natural wood. It gets sanded and refinished every 1 -1/2 to 2 seasons. The lanes are synthetic as USBC needs them to be in order to sanction. Which we proudly have a Silver Star at a USBC rating of 97.5% satisfaction.
Do you have ball ramps?
Yes we do. We have four ADA compliant ball ramps, two at each end of the lanes. We also have a car ball ramp that is in the back that anyone would be happy to grab for you if asked!
